These terms govern your use of the QME Combined Values Calculator at qmecalc.web.app ("the Calculator"). By using it, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Calculator.

Medical & professional disclaimer

The Calculator is a computational aid that applies the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 5th Edition, combining formula. It is not medical, legal, or professional advice, and it does not replace the judgment of a qualified medical evaluator. You are solely responsible for verifying every result against the AMA Guides and for any determination you make. We make no claim that results are suitable for any particular medico-legal purpose.

What the Calculator does

It combines impairment percentages using the AMA Guides 5th Edition Combined Values method and provides upper-extremity and lower-extremity to whole-person impairment conversions. Calculations run in your browser.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Calculator: no attempts to break, overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer access controls, or circumvent usage limits or payment. Do not use it unlawfully or resell access without permission.

Availability

The Calculator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we may modify or discontinue features.

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Calculator is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use the results at your own risk and professional discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on a calculation. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Calculator will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
